Why the Awards?

Do you know what it means to be truly understood? We do. At EMPOWER Strategy Group, we're all about championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). We work closely with our partners to build an immersive culture of inclusion in the workplace and the community. Over the years, we have admired and supported individuals and organizations driving real change in DEI across the Greater Golden Horseshoe Area. We have contemplated how to honour these trailblazers to encourage the continuity of their invaluable work and encourage others to follow in their footsteps. Greater Golden Horseshoe Diversity Awards is our answer. It is the first event of its kind in the area and is poised to be a game-changer. Through these awards, we aim to shine the spotlight on the trailblazers showing extraordinary dedication to DEI, honour their achievements, and spark inspiration for others to follow their lead in creating environments where everyone can thrive. - Evelyn Myrie, Founder and CEO, EMPOWER Strategy Group.
